From the nameplate it seems the Maugé firm was incorperated into the Maison Bruni. The Maugé went bankrupt in 1883. This would indicate this instrument is (shortly) after 1882. The Maison Bruni itself started 1847.
An instrument, undated, built by J. Maugé, but labeled Bruni 'successeur de Maugé' suggest the instrument was built in the period of the bankrupcy in 1883 and take over by Bruni. This year 1883 seems to be supported by the sound of the instrument, given the rather penetrating sound of stop 4 Basson / Hautbois.
The only thing we know from the Atlas is: Rue des Maraichers, Paris. Harmonium and reed maker 1867 (Gellerman). Both Bruni and Maugé are mentioned in Dieterlen 'L'harmonium'. (except one reference to a newspaper).
The instrument is labelled with a giant nameplate of the the Belgian dealer Jules Anneessens-Thange at Meenen. Jules Anneessens is not mentioned in the Atlas. However, other Anneessens are mentioned in the Atlas, as located at Menin, the French name of the small village close to the Belgian-French border, where the Flamand (=Dutch) name is spelled 'Meenen'. The Anneessens company was founded 1865.
